any creature with protection grants partial protection to all your en-kor.

jilting_joker, the Lightning Greaves is unnecessary, isn't it? I mean, the Nomads en-Kor can also do it infinitely, yes? That is, with the current errata on it, the en-Kor ability does target a creature, and you may activate their ability as often as you'd like.
Errata: "0: The next 1 damage that would be dealt to Nomads en-Kor this turn is dealt to target creature you control instead."
Rulings: "10/4/2004 You can use this ability as much as you want prior to damage being dealt."
Looking at the printed text, I suppose that the en-Kor might not have been able to activate their abilities unless damage was already assigned to them... at least, I think that's how I remember it working back in the day. If that's not the case, Tempest Block white decks had a pretty darn good 2-card combo for defense.

Psh... Dawn Elemental is dull. Angelic Protector works in the same way except far better in the following deck combo: Run 4x Nomads en-Kor in a deck with 4x Angelic Protector + 4x Miren, the Moaning Well + 4x Sanguine Bond. Throw in 4x Lightning Greaves for a 0 cost equip ability that will pump up Angelic Protector's toughness up to whatever rediculous number you wish "until end of turn". (by equiping & unequiping Lightning Greaves back & forth between Angelic Protector and another creature many times in one turn Angelic Protector gets +0+3 each time). Then you may sacrifice Angelic Protector using a Miren, the Moaning Well and as long as you have Sanguine Bond in play its game over. You win with as much health as you wish and leave your opponent choking in the negatives.
Nomads en-Kor+Angelic Protector = Nomads en-Kor+Dawn Elemental. This is because everytime you activate... (see all)

@jilting_joker: I see you're forgetting damage-based effects. Where cards like Dawn Elemental and Cho-Manno, Revolutionary prevent the damage dealt to them, Angelic Protector takes the damage, meaning your opponent will still get life from lifelink, kill your creature with deathtouch and trigger all kinds of trigered abilities.
