Arguably better than Bull Rush. Plus it has Tahngarth in the art.

What, does every card has to be game-breaking, then?

If it were an instant it would force damage through pretty insanely well

Good, especially nice to get a 3-power bonus every turn in the late game, but too bad it's a sorcery.

Sorry. Reckless Charge. The haste makes all the difference, plus flashback. for a +3/+0 every turn is not game-breaking.

Most of the time you'll want Reckless charge for early game (or I guess late game..) haste; flashback is enough and the total cost of both castings is one of this guy's buybacks.
That said, it may be better in an *off color* deck. Blue/red control may get the type of mana to use this to make a 2/2 a faster finisher while having the mana needed.
Still, it feels like Burst Lightning or something is more the thing for that.

5 mana gets you +6/+0. i'm Definitely ok with that. 4/5 the only thing i'd hold it against is brute force, and that's a bit different in the sense that i can't run at someone for repeatable damage. if you want it to stick, use madcap skills.

With the release of the Heroic mechanic, this becomes more interesting. The sorcery speed is still a big hit, but paying 4 mana per turn to get a Heroic trigger and make your guy a bruiser is pretty good, depending on the Heroic trigger.
Favored Hoplite, for example - once Heroic goes off it can't be blocked and killed, and +3/+0 on top of the +1/+1 counter every turn makes it a mean threat.
