Heh, the 7th edition version looks like crap compared to this one. Though, now that I think about the artist of the 7th edition version reading this comment and feelind bad: no the 7th edition art is not thaaat bad, it's to some part also because of the white border on it.
Still, this one looks better. Ain't a bad creature either. Can sac tokens, or himself, or creatures you stole or anything else. And he can kill most creatures, without requiring any mana or stuff. And in the worst case he can swing for two damage.

Wow this is much better than the reprint's art. As is true for most cards.
Combo this with Gravepact and Nether Shadow to clear the board fast.

@majinara oh yeah I forgot I could attack with him, this will definetly change the way I play against mono black decks (before I just discarded him or sacrificed him to hell's caretaker)
