"Temper" reflects the card perfectly. It's like tempering steel, the fire it survives makes it stronger.

A wonderfully flavorful card taking the art and flavor text, even if "Temper" does not reflect the ability or the color very well. As far as the spell itself, even with the-almost-strictly-better Test of Faith, it can save and pump your creature. Not too shabby.
