I'm surprised this is only 3 stars. It's not THAT BAD. At it's worst it's a 2/2 for 3, which is passable. It's a reusable lure. It's slightly more slippery than Nemesis Mask. You can make it an enchantment right before you attack, then change it back into a creature after they declare blockers. That's not a 3 star ability in my book. Can't be hit by sorcery speed enchantment hate. And if you're not using it each combat you can keep it untapped to dodge creature hate. This deserves at least 4 stars.

Sleeper. One of the better licids, and all licids are nasty if you know how to use them. Still not as good as the king, Dominating Licid.

with Root water Matriarch out, attach Tempting Licid to their creature, then take control of it. Attack with your newly acquired creature and, if you chose the creature wisely, it'll likely be killed along with at least one of their blockers.
By the way, has anybody brought it Wizards' attention that their word filter system is awful?

I know a lot of people already know about the Lure + Stuffy Doll combo. However, if you use this, then Eladamri's Call can be used to tutor both halves.

Along with Dominating Licid, this is one of the few Licids that doesn't suck.
...In a bad way, i mean.
Most of the other Licids just provide some poor abilities that you'd get from a mediocre 1CC aura, and if you want to keep the Licid in case the enchanted creature dies, you'll have to keep one mana open to end the effect in time. Quickening Licid for example is a 1/1 for 2 mana that can provide first strike.
Seriously, who'd want to pay three mana or even more to switch between this effect and a chump blocker?
Tempting Licid, however, does everything right.
It provides Lure's ability, which is actually worth something, yet also an effect you can't always make use of, so until you can make use of it, you'll still get a bear for three mana.
Additionally since Lure's effect will usually result in the enchanted creature's death (and thus also the loss of this aura), it's very releva... (see all)
