This was one of the main reasons Replenish was so strong. This card was so great in the right deck, and such a good way to dig deep looking for answers. I ran this in UBR Bargain for a long time because it was less costly than drawing three more with Yawgmoth's Bargain (and because you had drawn a ton of land to discard for free). This is a clearly great card from the braintrust at Wizards.

Because it would suck as a sorcery, pvkraft.

This card is very underrated in my opinion. This thing thins out your deck and is a drawing power machine! It easily exchanges cards you don't need for cards you need. Late game it'll let you pitch all the lands you've drawn and draw into some of the goodies.
I personally use this card to trigger massive draw effects. This card is very good with things like Jace's Erasure, Hoofprints of the Stag, Lorescale Coatl, ANY of the "words cards" such as: Words of Wind, Words of Worship, etc. Cards like Thought Reflection can turn a negative card draw into a nice fat profit. And that's all without thinking of graveyard or discard tricks you could pull with this thing.
I have to mention that this thing is not a dead card in your deck. If you draw more than one, just activate one, and discard the ones you don't need. This card allows you to pull major trick... (see all)

and if you have found the cards you needed you can use an Elixir of Immortality and your library is again full to be used

This is a great example of a card that excells with other synergetic cards but is farely limited on its own. While everyone loves drawing cards, its the discarding that you have to build around. In the absence of Survival of the Fittest, Attunement is a perfect addition to Vengevine Madness decks; in most other decks, however, there are better choices for recursive card drawing.

Having seen the power of Unburial Rites, I want 4 of these. Such a good card.
