Back in the day I ran this with Wall of Junk and Bullwhip. My life count got up to something ridiculous every time.

Reprinted in an ability on the RtR Selesnya Guild Leader, who costs either 5 cmc or 6. Completely outclassed, though I suppose they'd work particularly well together.
