OMG.
I just had an epiphany when looking through all the Runes of Protection:
It seems Mother of Runes is the one behind all those runes - both figuratively and literally!
I feel stupid not having realized that any sooner.
(Judging from the gray hair as opposed to the brown hair and the different hair styles, it might not be the same person on all those runes after all but members of a certain family. Although she's undoubtedly an expert with those runes, her flavor text as well as the fact that she can't protect against artifacts and lands would support that theory, since there are runes that can protect from those s...
