House ban? We play it unrestricted, and affecting any opponent not just one (a la the original wording)

Back in the day we had a house rule:
anyone using this card was cheating because we considered it so unfair. So basically Black Vise was banned in our games. :) Looking back, it may have been naive and dumb but we liked good matchups and Black Vise was responsible for so much namecalling and arguements we decided to ban it lol.
When I see this card now, it's still ridiculously broken by todays standards too.

Assuming you opponent plays a land and maybe another card each turn and keeps their handsize low for the rest of the game, a first-turn Black Vise is still usually 5 or so damage for one colourless mana. Nevermind what happens when you throw in things like Stasis and Wheel of Fortune....
