This is my favorite white card.
Chances are they can't recover. But if they do, chances are really slim that they will recover from another one in three turns.
Swords to Plowshares is a nice way to rub salt in the wounds.
Persist is pretty great, especially Twilight Shepherd and Juniper Order Ranger to keep the -1/-1 counters off.
It just begs you to build around it. In many different ways.

Black Market + cataclysm you got mana not your opponents

It's like a more balanced Balance, yet it's still ridiculous in power level. When you find the right time to resolve either card you will almost certainly win.

I'm almost tempted to replace my Wrath of God in my Astral Slide deck.

Cataclysm kills planeswalkers dead. Neat.

This one's pretty fun for a land destruction/mass removal card. As a bonus, it smites pesky planeswalkers!

This card is awesome. I have a deck designed around this with a bunch of white weenies, Cursed Scroll, Ensnaring Bridge and Ghostly Prison.
You can always play your guys even if you have only 1 or 2 mana, and wiping the board clear of lands/creatures prevents your opponent from playing any type of deck. It works pretty well.

Art and flavor text don't fit the mechanics.

Wow, guess thats where the came up with the idea to create Raizia's purification. But if your actually trying to wipe the board and actually get your opponent in the bad spot, this is probably the better out of the two
