I used to love this card in my suicide black. Lots of little dudes suddenly doing extra damage. Won me lots of games.

with enough creatures out really fast, this can do 5+ damage to your opponent and be worth it.
Current standard metagame has a ton of midrange wipes, so it would be best to avoid cards like this in an aggro build in standard

Black mass pump, how is that not good? 5/5 just for violating color pie.

Love, love LOVE this art! Not very Magic-y, but it's one card I distinctly remember from when I first was introduced to the game and it really made an impression on me. I just love the designs of the creatures, the contrast between them and the lady... just everything.
The card is fairly decent, too.

I'm not sure what to make of this art. She's surrounded by monsters, yet she doesn't look so distraught. Hmmmn. I think I'll run this with Induce Despair and Earthbind..... Maybe a Denied!.

If 3 of your creatures can get through to your opponent, this is basically a black Lava Spike.

I was thinking about this art for way too long, but I've worked out what it is - reminds me of Where The Wild Things Are. Nice card, not spectacular, not bad but any kind of pump at instant speed can make huge differences in limited. 3/5 for the card, 4/5 for the art.
