Giving him First Strike - and maybe a power boost, to make not-blocking less attractive - can help the salamander really cause trouble for your opponent. Try him with something like Claws of Valakut or No-Dachi.

@LateralisOne - well, actually, salamanders are closer to frogs than they are to lizards. That salamander-to-fire connection is a cool one based on old real-world superstitions!

It's interesting that they kept the creature type as "salamander", rather than "lizard". Wizards is so silly sometimes.

@LateralisOne: Salamanders have only superficial similarities to lizards, you dumbass. They are indeed amphibians, NOT reptiles. God, people around here have such crappy knowledge of taxonomy!
