OMG with all that buyback text and reminder text, i almost didn't see what this card did.

Forget Sinkholes, Icequakes and Fissures. Add Ice Storms, Thermokarsts, Winter's Grasps and Strip MInes. With green you can get mana acceleration even though you use your lands to destroy theirs and even Storm Seekers to finish the game.

I'm shocked at the rating. This is the BEST 4 CMC land destruction card in MTG. You use this in addition to a mix of 3 CMC cards like Stone Rain and Pillage. What this card does is acts as a slightly worse variant in some cases, or in other cases gives the extremely important answer of repeatable land destruction when you and your opponent keep top decking lands. This card is amazing for what it is and should be no less than a 4.5/5

Pretty steep buyback, though it has slight synergy with Madness. If you're going for pure land destruction, you'd clearly go with Sinkhole, Icequake, Stone Rain, Pillage, Avalance Riders, Fissure, Icefall, and even Demolish before you even considered this, and that's 32 cards already.

It always kind of bothered me that cards like this cost 4 mana to blow up one land, while Armageddon blows up all of them for the same.
I mean, is white mana that much stronger pound for pound that it can cause up to 30 times the devastation as red mana can? Seems unfair.

I have a version of this card from the 1999 world championship Tokyo. It has a gold border and the back of the card is totally diffrent from other cards.
I think it's really neat but have no idea where I got it.
