I was at a party that was ruined by a boar before. 3, actually. 3 boars, not three parties. And they were technically pigs.
Someone had greased them up and with marker wrote a big 1 on one, a 2 on another, and a 4 on the third. God knows how long people looked for the nonexistent number 3.

Okay, I get it, this is a clunky way of saying it must be blocked by at least one creature.
Also, metal, I lol'd.

@izzet
It is slightly different, hence (part of) the reason they didn't change it.
In this case, the player may choose an untapped creature, and tap it before the Declare Blockers step to not have to block. Likewise they could choose something like Tormented soul. If it was "Crashing Boars must be blocked by at least one creature if able" The player would have to choose some creature they control that is able to block it. Honestly your version would be better (opponents having the option is always a powerbreaker, even if it is this circumstantial.)
