This card is the worst in Portal Second Age. That's quite an achievement.
When I started the game, I started out with Portal and Portal 2. I was a horrible judge of power at that time, but as soon as I opened this in one of my packs, I thought "Why would I ever play this?"

Terrible card. Strangely though, I think I understand Wizard's thought process when making this card. At the time this was made, Healing Salve was the base line. Playing 2 Healing Salves is trading 2 mana and 2 card advantage for 6 life. This is also 2 card advantage, so you are basically paying 1 mana more for 1 life more. Unfortunately: 1) Healing Salve is weak by today's standards and 2) most of Healing Salves playability came from the ability to save creatures.
It makes me wonder, how much life would it have to give before people would play it? Would people use it if it gave 10 life? How about 15 life?

...Ah? 2.75 star? I guess it's funny to pretend card disadvantage is good. This would be bad even without the draw effect. Rest for the Weary is much more cost effective and still not uninspiring. This gets 1/5 at best.

One of those cards that seperates seasoned players from newer players...I can hear it now "Sure, you get to draw a card, but now I'm at 27 life!"
