Useful if a player tutors using Liliana Vess or a similar ability - or to keep your opponent from getting more land when they're mana-screwed.. Still, it doesn't cantrip and it's very situational.

Bad...really? Milling one card for U? Hell, you could pseudo-counter/bounce their win condition with some other blue spell (Æethertow, Balshan Beguiler, Bamboozle, Consign to Dream, etc.) and then wipe it with this.

It has been made obsolete, though...Extract surgically removes one card; Glimpse the Unthinkable costs one more, but dumps 10 cards...
