One of my favorite cards ever. I play it in a land destruction deck and once this hits the table, it's game over. By the time it hits, the opponent only has 3 lands or less so it makes the hordes impossible to kill.

Hard to control, but this monster embodied black magic so well back in the day. Destroy everything! The other guy's lands, your land, your opponent, etc. Even the drawback, while severe, is not unreasonable on a 5/5 for 3BBB that can destroy at least 1 land per turn.

Absolutely love the art, and the effect puts a timer on the game. Of course, you should have probably won by turn 7 these days, but back then Magic was a different game.

Its funny because even if they mana short you or you chose not to pay the cost, you can still him and destroy a land while the ability is on the stack.
Its an interesting card but I will have to rate it .5/5 for being functionally strange as mentioned above.
