The white border actually suits this artwork very well and since its not washed out as in Revised this strikes a very nice card.

It's still fairly decent. Not the most exciting 5-drop, certainly, but there are many worse.

Great art and a card that was fairly costed for its time. You don't see that much.
Old cards are interesting, because they didn't know how big the game was going to get, so they went for the strongest theme they could get, using iconic D&D monsters and big dragons and demons to get people to look at their cards. One might wish that they'd saved something like Air Elemental for later, but if they had, they might not have had a "later" to save it for!
