@ SleetFox; Not true. Sun Titan likes him. 2 mana for 4 life to shove in your graveyard, one attack step to get him on the field. Not that there aren't better combos with the White Titan, but he definitely fits in a Sun Titan deck.

1/1 for 1 is standard. 2 life for 1 is standard, but making it repeatable is nice. 4 life for 2 is slightly below average, but acceptable given the rest of the card's flexibility.

Oh, and did I mention that it's in one of the most supported tribes ever? Yeah, wow. Easily the best of the Ghost-Lit and an amazing card overall. Give me four, I'll find a use for him.

This really is a great card. It's a 1 drop with multiple abilities, one that has repeatable life gain and one that both gives you life and throws it in the graveyard. This card has so many uses. Plus, it's a spirit. If you happen to be running a spirit deck, its a great critter to boost you early game till you get out more costly creatures, then you can feed him to stuff like He Who Hungers

Slap some sandskin armor on him (it?) and block, gain 2 life for the rest of the game. There are easier ways for consistent life-gain, but this is still such a wonderfully solid card.

I know I can not technically say this because these two cards are different types, but card type aside, this is strictly better than Sacred Nectar

Of course, lots of things are better then that terrible terrible card, but still worth noting, and one more reason why Sacred Nectar sucks.

This card is cheap to play and cheap to activate, and most people won't expect it coming. With Channel and Soulshift you have a reusable life gain whether it's in play or in hand. I like it.

3.5/5

I agree, although it can get nasty with something like proclamation of rebirth, its still just a creature. There are so many answers to it.
Kill combo pieces in the hand with discard.
Kill it in the graveyard with graveyard removal like tormod's crypt
Or things that negate lifegain, such as everlasting torment

One of the best 1-cost creatures for a dedicated life gain deck. Not worth much in any other deck.
