Play yourself a Venser's Journal and Canopy Cover, draw a few cards, and sit back, knowing that you'll have an unstoppable juggernaut in a few turns, along with the health to get there.
Looks like a good friend to Lorescale Coatl in the right deck.(The right deck meaning in this case: Any one that's running lorescale Coatl.)

Awesome in a Damia, Sage of Stone EDH deck. As long as Damia is out this guy is getting +7/+7 every turn. With a Paradox Haze out too its +14/+14. With a Bottled Cloister it becomes overkill really fast.

Within block there is stuff like Gnat Miser, Nezumi Shortfang and Waking Nightmare to keep your opponent down on cards. Card draw like Jushi Apprentice, Graceful Adept and Counsel of the Soratami make sure you don't run out yourself. Even Kodama's Reach gains some utility by ramping and "drawing" you a card. Might an amusing way to keep them for dealing with increasingly angry glowing fist dude. That said, he's only really worth it if you want to (very rarely) kill your opponents with with a 30/30 crappy common that cost {2}{G}. So yeah, so worth it. (When it works which is seldom.)
