The creature clause is pretty wonky. It isn't going to do much on its own, but the ability to block a creature, and then throw this on top might actually kill something.
Are you expecting them to have at least 3 enchantments out? Then by all means play this card. Enchantments are the whipping boy of card types and in a lot of games this is going to be a lame draw. Any time you wish you had a shock over something like this, you know you are looking at a niche card.
It would be fun to pull of a victory with this, Enchanted evening, and a couple of Urza's Armor effects.

Enchanted Evening suicide. Good against enchantment decks that are getting more popular in casual such as Sigil of the Empty Throne and Mesa Enchantress.

I would like to see this as a Black enchantment. A way for Black to go against enchantments, albeit by hurting itself as well.

Not really.
In fact i can hardly remember playing a constructed deck which used any Auras.
I like the idea of this card, it's an interesting red sideboard alternative to Tranquility for burn decks.
I'm afraid it will only rarely kill any cratures, though.
Since this is an Arcane instant this card might even get reprinted as a more powerful non-Arcane spell someday.

This is a really nice card vs Uril, The Miststalker. His trollshroud means nothing when he is not targeted.
EDIT: Actually, this will at best have a leveling effect on Uril as it only makes auras deal damage and doesn't remove the auras as well.

I really like this card, use it with Binding agony and other cards like that in a red black white deck, full of other cards that go with it,

I like the idea of this card, but how do I not also get killed using it since its rare to have a deck that doesn't include any enchantments for your creatures.

This card is much improved with all of the new curses curse of the pierced heart, curse of misfortunes, curse of thirst and curse of bloodletting could potentially turn aura barbs into a win condition. Not a tier 1 strategy but still fun.
