This, for the uninitiated, is Kamigawa in a nutshell. Unique effects, some colour-pie-bending, and excessive costs as far as the eye can see. Absolutely soaked in flavour, too.

Just so you know, the Kenzo mentioned in Yomiji's flavor text is the white flip card Bushi Tenderfoot. Once he flips he becomes Kenzo. Apparently the flavor text is talking about how he survived and returned as a legend (flip), albeit tragic.

I kinda agree, at this cost this guy won't find much use. You don't really want a big body, there are better option out there, you want his ability. But for seven mana? C'mon, this effect isn't seriously exploitable anywhere, you'll have a hard time building a deck with many legendary permanents that synergizes nicely.

This would be more playable if it returned the cards back to play at the end of turn (possibly for a slight cost), it would make the card even powerful. But like that? No, thanks...

Cool Art, I pulled a foil. Not practical, should be 5/5 for a bit less. I mean how many legends are u gonna have in a deck if youre not playing kamigawa???!!!

Leyline of Singularity makes him more useful but its double edged though. Just too expensive at 4/4 stats. 2.5/5
