most of the good artifacts, like the Jitte or Aether Vial cost very little, making this guy's ability not very expensive to use. Being a spirit he can easily be put into a spirit deck to act as artifact removal if necessary and a beatstick if not. Maybe include something to trigger as he dies or use soulshift to get him back. Not bad for a common.

Well, it is a 2/1 for 1R, so it can be useful as aggro, and later it can be used to blow up an artifact. Not great, but not a bad card in a fast red deck.

to costly to get rid of expensive artifacts, and there is no good spirit tribal to put it in
