You guys don't seem to realize that you can play several cheap arcane spells to get this guy several boosts, do you? Sure, it's not all that good, but with a few cantrips it can be quite good for Kamigawa.

A bad card, just to get the base power of 3 mana creatures you would have to play a spirit or arcane spell. And that's just the end of turn. Otherwise it's just a 2/2 for 3, which sucks.
