Amazing card, obviously. Just sideboardish.

This is a grieving card. Outside of tournaments, sideboards are any cards you have in your collection. And when a player only had Plains in his deck because he likes white... well he does not want to play you anymore unless you promise not to run Flashfires

I don't like cards like these which can single handedly hose an entire color with little to no effort. They're not effective enough to see tournament play, but just good enough to really mess with certain casual tables. Of course that depends on the speed of your meta and what not, but still the concept of these cards just doesn't sit right with me. They're not good most of the time, but they're also not fun at all.

Flashfires + Magical Hack ?
Sure, there may be better, but that in of itself can be fun so far as messing w/ people's heads - and switching the basic land type affected.

I don't really feel bad about casting boil or ruination (I hate blue and 5c). But, when someone casts flashfires, my heart goes out for the guy who's playing Eight-and-a-Half-Tails as their general.
