@Kryptnyt - I'm not saying this isn't playable, but they've printed cards like Gray Ogre and Hill Giant more than this. I don't think your rational is quite solid.

Other than that, yes, I think this card is actually pretty useful, as it is basically a trade of 3 life for two damage anywhere, it is instant speed, reusable, probably not a big deal in burn decks anyway and can be lifelinked.
