classic card, precisely on curve, not much use except as filler in a lifegain deck. If you replace a 1 with a White you get Kemba's Skyguard, which is the same but has flying.

The problem with this card is that gaining 2 life once isn't going to really help. Very rarely do I lose a game that I would have won with 2 more life. You want a card more like Oracle of Nectars. Repeated life gain is so much better. Or, of course, you could just play a better creature that can block and save you more than 2 life.
