This is potentially more epic than it sounds. All you need are:

Spellbook and/or Reliquary Tower
Some number of Howling Mines
Coat of Arms

So, potentially, first turn you play it, and let's say you're at 7 in your hand. You now have 7 7/7 Snakes.
Next turn, you get 7 more, so you have 14 14/14 snakes. Then you draw 5.
Next turn, you get 12 more, so you have 26 26/26 snakes.

You see where I'm going with this.

These snakes are so good with Garruk Wildspeaker and leyline of vitality.

Another funny combo, is Allies, with conspiracy

Don't even think of using this without Seshiro the Anointed or his kids or Doubling Season or a couple of Scion of the Wild.
If you don't have something to help your snakes, they will probably just die.
That being said, pretty much any of the above combos will win you the game.

MULTIPLE EPIC SPELLS ARE FEASIBLE TO SET OFF. You need two in your hand (two of the same would work); a quicken, vedalken orrery, or leyline of anticipation; and ridiculous amounts of mana production (such as Cloudpost, Glimmerpost, Vesuva and Mycosynth Lattice) or mana reduction (such as the Planeshift familiars or Cloudkey).

Slap down one Epic spell, then before it resolves, quicken, then put another Epic spell on the stack. By the time one resolves, the other one's already been cast, and is not affected by "You can't cast spells". This has been confirmed by a MTG customer support representative via email.

Endless swarm + Essence of the Wild = Total Chaos

Throw some Doubling Season and Parallel Lives in the mix beforehand (or during if you pulled the "two epics at the same time trick" using this and Enduring Ideal)

Now everything comes out en-mass as self replicating 6/6's

Have a nice day

@TomYoung : Angelic Arbiter wouldn't stop your friend from attacking. The Epic keyword ability copies the spell directly onto the stack, without any casting involved. It keeps things from getting confusing since Epic prevents you from actually casting anything, period. In this case, the Arbiter's ability wouldn't be able to stop your friend's horde of snakes from attacking.
