Arcane Laboratory... as if it's even necessary once she's flipped.

It may interest to know that this is the only card banned in 2 Headed Giant.
I know why, too. I knew a guy who played this in 2HG, and he could flip it pretty consistently on turn 1. There's pretty much no coming back from that...

@Guest1763363352: Incorrect. In order to trigger, it must be on the battlefield. In your scenario, Erayo is not on the battlefield when the fourth spell is cast, so it doesn't trigger.

Used to have a Ninja deck that either went Ornithopter into Ninja of the Deep Hours, or Erayo -> Ornithopter -> Unsummon Ornithopter -> Ornithopter. Made even better when Repeal came around.

No wonder it's banned in two headed giant...

Schlappi - Erayo's ability goes onto stack on Release the ants and resolves first flipping and becoming enchantment. Then it would be Release the Ants' turn but its target is illegal and then it 'fizzles'

I have these guys, and the idea is a ton of fun, but you have to build around them for later because the advantage diminishes as the game goes on and more spells can be played per turn. Recently I see the artifact decks playing spells back and forth (from hand and play) as well as some 0 cost art cre and equip cards that make it very possible/fast to flip Erayo while not relying on your opponent to help you flip them...

Why does the flip side of the card read Erayo Essence and not Erayo's Essence??

@ Forgeling, be careful with that, if you play it as your third spell, someone could respond to that - playing I donÄt know what instant which would be the fourth spell - so he doesn't get flipped that turn since Erayo is still on the stack when the fourth spell is played and not on the battlefield!!!
@ Donovan_Fabian
Nope, it sais "...of each opponent..." - so unless you consider yourself your own enemy, it doesn't counter your spells!^^
Well, apart from the fact that I desperately want this card you've gotta pray that it doesn't get sniped into oblivion fast with toughness 1 before it gets flipped, though. I mean your opponents will want him gone! ;D
I mean any spell like Shock could easily kill it off... Still, what happens when the third spell was in fact Erayo itself, it gets on the field and then someone tries to kill him with Release the Ants. Would he get flipped before the Ants hit him? I'd say yes...???
Well, cya :-)
