Streamhopper, regenerate prevents the card from being destroyed, so there's no combo. At least, I'm pretty sure there isn't
A weird card with a form of psuedo-evasion. Still overpriced. Maybe for 2 mana.

Seems like Murderous Redcap goes with this idea and takes it just a bit further. Although Infectious Host is simply 'lose life' as oppose to target-able damage, which there are ways to prevent.

better than blistergrub because this one is a zombie, I don't know of very many cards that care weather or not your a horror but I know plenty of cards that want you to be a zombie.
however upon seeing murderous redcaps I think I want that one most

All of my friends seem to think this card is good, no matter how much I try and tell them it blows.

I agree with Designer_Genes. When I first started playing I thought this was one of the best cards out there, along with the cycle of Slith (especially Slith Firewalker). Then I got a rule book, which had Liliana Vess in it...

Give it persist, or alternatively undying, which shouldn't be hard to do.

@Supershawn: I'm going to propose to you two cards. One is a 1/1 Black Zombie for 4. The other is a 4/4 Black Wombat for 1. Which is better?
Obviously the zombie, because there are plenty of cards that like if your card is a zombie, but none that care if it's a wombat. That is what you are saying. Blistergrub has twice the power and toughness, twice the life-loss that also hits all opponents, and swampwalk. Tribe can't make up for that. Infectious Host is terrible, end of story.
