And then again you could bounce it off your own transguild courier and it doesnt matter what color your opponent is playing! Unless they got only artifact creatures, in which case, swap this for shattering spree

Sometimes you like a few of your opponent's creatures to block into your lure effects.
This gives you some choice, though not much.

Considering that your opponent are the ones that need to worry about blocking, the radiance side effects won't hinder the usefulness of the card. Mono colored decks beware. Mulit-colored decks be slightly afraid.
