I'm getting the feeling this card is hinting at me to do something... play a specific type of creature, perhaps? Oh well.

You could always splash blue for Mothdust Changeling.
Beat the curve and avoid the damage.

Of course, I'm almost certain there are better things to do with your first 2 turns.

Since there aren't that many Demons with a low mana cost out there (except for some Changelings), this card will likely cost you quite an amount of life.

Duress. 3/3 pretty strong in the early game, and later on the drawback gos away.
