I think his ability to give all creatures regardless of their type is more useful than Captain of the Watch's ability, but I think the 3 chumps you get with the Cap'n make it happen.

This is one of those cards that could be rare. I'm not saying that it's super-good, but it has a big impact on the game.

He is no replacement for Veteran ArmorerandSerra's Blessing, but is a good addition to a deck with these cards, and makes Stasis so much more fun to play!

Seems to do a much better job than Gate Hound in the same set, although the two may not be directly comparable due to the mana costs.

I once had ignored this card. Then my girlfriend found it in my collection. After being beat by hear soldier deck a few times now I know better. This guy can be a problem.
