It might of been good if it had trample

It would of been crazy with trample! in block constructed, if you play selesnya, this could get crazy really fast. put a fists of ironwood on it, instant five/trampler. Tap all your other tokens, and this gets more powerfull very quickly.

They almost always do if it has a creature type in the card name. I love how that would improve the card... but not enough for it to see play.

I think it's not a great card, tapping creatures for this doesn't seem to be worth it. And it's too expensive. It would be worth it if it had like 5/3 or something..

Maybe this is just me, but am I the only one who saw this guy's name and thought it was some weird kind of "root canal" pun? Anyone else?
And, while Wizards usually does change a creature's creature type based of its name (now we have two riggers), I'm not really surprised that they didn't change his types. He's an "ally" in the sense that he benefits from others (which many creatures do; it's not enough to merit a type change), not in the sense that he's one of Zendikar's allies that teams up with other allies for protection. And, since all "allies" are from Zendikar, they decided to keep it that way.
