In Shandalar, I used it with Ashnod's battle gear to make him get bigger things, and extra battle gear to kill what I took but didn't want to keep.

Rather disturbing art on a reasonably good creature. Sure, he could only steal smaller things, but he did it practically for free. Also, he's quite big for his casting cost - a 2/3 for 1UU was a steal back then.

The first of several cards that allowed you to take control of another creature at the cost of keeping one tapped...This one is actually pretty, with a nice body at a decent cost to start out with as well...
