Had semenulative upkeep before it was fashionable. Look what you forced me to do, Wizards! IT DIDN'T HAVE TO GO DOWN LIKE THIS!

you dont get it weretarrasque, this continues to increase, 1 point now, 4 points later, it adds up, and in a mana ramp you basicly say, you win, if you are worried about the backlash, there are cards that will take care of it, Purity and mark of asylum will keep you and your creatures safe, while your opponent is slowly drained away, it is like a volcanic fallout every turn

I guess Green got Pestilence before Red did (Pyrohemia).

Yay for the first ever cumulative upkeep card, a couple of years before the mechanic was introduced! I used to want the artwork on my bedroom ceiling. Seriously.

Oh man my card got greasy from putting my Lays all over it. Even messier in England.

You have to love how cumulative upkeep cleaned this card up, and why is cumlative upkeep censored...

I miss the cumulative upkeep this card used to have...i like chips more being treated as age counters than being treated as wind counter like on the Chronicles version. Yet keeping the oracle wording as close as possible to the latest printing is likely the best thing Wizards could do...
(In the Power-Level-Errata-B-Gone article (http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtgcom/daily/af127) they used to like the Oracle having cumulative upkeep.)

Jeez... "chip", "round", "discard" on a permanent... thank god for standardized text.

Fun card, potentially devastating with enough mana, and an interesting representation of green just letting nature go mad and destroy everything.

Cumulative Upkeep: {G}
When you pay the cumulative upkeep of Cyclone it deals that much damage to each creature with flying and each player.
