I still use it in one of my EDH decks.

Technically, shouldn't this not hit tokens?

I like it. It's not good for 1vs1 matches, but in slow formats like multiplayer games or Commander/EDH, it's quite good. Also, I like playing old cards whenever possible. So having an AN Desert Twister in an EDH/Commander deck makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. :)

Well, not bad if you are looking for control mono-green? Too expensive for anything else.

It's nowhere near as good as Vindicate at six mana, but green can get it off a turn or two early easily enough.

A great Green card. I hope Green starts moving toward the "destroy a permanent" flavor.

This was the first card that could destroy any permanent...and actually saw quite a bit of play, it's now been obsoleted for well over 10 years now...

I always thought this card was overcosted. Green back then had cheaper mass removal, with Tranquility and Tsunami. Sure, green didn't have any creature removal, but then again, that's what green creatures are for.

Play with R&D's Secret Lair. Not only does this version say destroy the card, it does not say 'target'.
