Liquimetal Coating? Take their lands away from them haha
Also use this on any other permanent you want.
This card is quite powerful if used right, I really don't like the art though...
You could fling one of the artifacts creatures you took in response to Aladdin being destroyed, or if you are afraid of losing all of the artifacts you took, you could get some goblins with
Kuldotha Rebirth, kill a big creature or hit them in the face with
Shrapnel Blast, power up your Arcbound Ravager, pump up your Ferrovore or your Megatog, proliferate with Throne of Geth, or get a new artifact with Shape Anew, or with Trash for Treasure. Etc.
Lots of combos with this guy.
Would give it 5/5 but it gets -0.5 from the art
4.5/5

Somewhat amusing that he was a rare in Arabian Nights... when he was designed, were the makers aware that the next set would be so artifact-heavy? Regardless, while Aladdin is certainly not unplayable and can have a very good effect on the game under the right circumstances, he really does not justify four mana in a modern deck.

Memnarch, perhaps. Then again, most decks have artifacts now, so he's usable.

Nope, not quite.
I prefer playing Darksteel's antagonist rather than Arabian Night's protagonist.
He's for the late game and also requires slightly more mana to take control as well, but has a much stronger body, can convert any permanent into an artifact as well, does not require to tap for anything and most of all, you'll keep control even if your tool leaves play.
Aladdin still has a nice flavor, but the artwork is not appealing in my opinion.

Interesting flavor, this is one of the few ways to steal an artifact, and I believe this is the only reusable way...

Everything about this card seems legendary to me. Name, unusual mechanic, flavor, everything.

@BongRipper: The legendary supertype was not introduced until Legends, though. And even after Legends, they were still making "unique" characters as non-legendary creatures... Ahem Uncle Istvan.
