so basically Bloodbraid Elf without Cascade, and Vulshok Berserker without the option for mono-red.
This block had some really, really poor commons.

Yeah, it's not as good as the more reasonable Vulshok Berserker, but that's because its mana cost only includes Green, and you don't get Haste in Green for free.
There are tons of good commons in Guildpact, including Gruul ones like Skargaan Pit-Skulk and Scab-Clan Mauler (Which was heavily played in T2). Yeah, some aren't so good (Like this one, which was obviously designed for limited's multicolor environment), but that's how it is in every set.
