In a way, Subversion is better, since it's harder to kill. For 5 mana, I'd want more than a 2/3 with this ability - unless I'm playing EDH, in which case there'll be so many Wraths flying around that it'll likely die pretty quickly.

At least its power/toughness is good enough for it to do something other than its effect. As stated, killer in multiplayer.

darkfury, they'll all trigger their lifegain effects, yes, but they won't trigger on each other. It's hard to understand exactly what you asked.
Forgeling's right that at least this is a step up from Subversion.
