A friend of mine has an Elesh Norn commander deck. I picked this card out for him. I regret doing that.

This card is amazing if you combo it with something like Orzhov Pontiff ,Cower in Fear, or any booster like Leyline of the Meek
Even if you don't have that, if you have tokens (or regular cards, if you want), you can trade your useless stuff.

Goblin Sharpshooter can easily be on the field when this guy comes in. With two or more in play, you can hit your opponent with one and a creature with the other to wipe any parts of the board you find offensive.

Many interesting comments here about how to use this as a board-sweeper, or a one-sided Wrath - I particularly like the comment about Night of Souls' Betrayal, as I would never have thought about how those two effects worked together unless I had stumbled upon the situation in-game! Alphascythe's Zealous Persecution suggestion is my favourite - it's multiplayer-friendly and relatively cheap to pull off.
The only other way I can think of to make especially good use of his ability is if you build so that your creatures don't lose anything when he comes into play. White has a lot of good ways to make 1/1 token creatures in large numbers... Conqueror's Pledge, either Elspeth, and Nomad's Assembly come to mind from recent sets, and if you go back further then you can conside... (see all)

Just drop a Night of Souls' Betrayal on turn 4 or 5, and this card is gravy. Even if they do manage to kill him, target something that's gonna die, then wait for your next board sweep.

This + pestilence + ghostway. Maybe a bit too expensive for playing all at once, but after the creature it haunts dies, its 4 mana for destroy all your opponents creatures.

The best combos with this card unfortunately are very costly.
