I think that this card is quite good, and a little understimated... Sure, it can be waaaay better (even considering that Man-o'-War is good but not overpowered), but it's nice nevertheless.
During a draft, with this and Vacuumelt, I bounced several times an ANGEL OF DESPAIR and still succeed to win!

Yeah, well Man-o'-war isn't always legal, or in Rav limited.
On top of that, he's two relevant creature types.

I had this played against me in casual the other day.
I have to say.. when she tapped for 5 mana in an Izzet deck.. I expected something a little better ;)
