@John-Bender:
Basically he is. He's handing him a book with a title of "Winning Lottery Numbers".
Yeah, they watched back to the future.
And why is that guy holding a black lotus?

He's handing his past self a book of winning lottery numbers and a Black Lotus. Two cards. Simple.

The artwork reminds me about the scene in Back to the Future: Part 2 where old Biff gives young Biff the Almanac.

The limerick made from the flavor text of the 5 "double" cards.
The wizard exclaimed, "I'm no chicken . . . ."
In a duel and taking a lickin' . . .
"I'm facing defeat, . . ."
"But next time we meet, . . ."
"You're in for a nasty butt-kickin'."

The artist is pretty clearly Phil Foglio, I wonder why he'd use a fake name here?

Wait... Won't you have to discard the cards you draw next game, because of max hand size?
I guess that's what the Black Lotus is for, so he can play all those cards turn 1.

@Lash_of_Dragonbreath
No, the Black Lotus is there so he can sell it for like 3 thousand bucks and buy a bunch of lotto tickets

This card seems insane in a storm deck. The first time you play against someone use a deck whose only goal is to cast this card as many times as possible. Then the second time onward you play a storm deck, and in the process of winning, cast this card 2-3 times. You'd never lose against that person again! Also, never play against them again. They wouldn't want to.
