Why does a Shadowmoor elf have a katana? Why does it have two blades? Why doesn't his armor fit?
I think this may be a case of a card changing after the art came in.
At least the card we got out of it was pretty good.

@ trolled, I agree, but looking at the art I guess he uses one sword, just with a twin blade to inflict extra scarry wounds, hence the wither.
