Anyone ever think of attaching Crab Umbra to this, it untaps for 3 mana at that point.

This is probably the best possible creature to combine with Sensor Splicer, with the possible exception of Phyrexian Colossus. No longer shall we waste all our mana on this guy. Suddenly, he can also block.
