I think it's actually pretty good. With Glissa, the Traitor out, you can have something either hitting them in the face for 5 or have a blocker with 5 power (which, if it isn't trampling or a first striker, is quite good for a creature that costs 4), and you can screw around with their heads by activating it's ability at the last moment, meaning if they really don't want to take any damage, they have to throw more creatures at it. With Glissa out, that means you can bring it back each time it kills something. Ok, so it costs 4 to do it each time, but hey, that's basically 4 mana to get a creature with a power of 5 out that only stays dead for so long.

Artifacts are generally easier to kill. Particularly easier to kill than black creatures like Dross Crocodile.
