Beguiler of Wills has little synergy with this card, unless you have a way to drop the enchants or wish to steal utility creatures (which in most cases you are doing 2 cards for 1).

Does however, stop many, many creatures becoming a danger ever again until the enchantment is gone

I've had days where I've felt like someone gave me -13/-0. 5/5 for realism.

@DarthParallax, a card for 5 mana that cripples all your opponent's creatures? Even if that cost is balanced, I'm pretty sure the chance Wizards would print something like that at common is absurdly low.

Either way, I like this. We've had all sorts of weak in blue cards that reduce power. Like Constricting Tendrils, Fleeting Distraction, and lately in Innistrad, Sensory Deprivation.

Sensory Deprivation costs U, and gives a mostly permanent -3/-0 to a/the creature. This, for 2 more, gives -13/-0. That's a big difference. For 1U at common, I'd expect -6/-0 or -7/-0. For 2U at common, I'd expect -10/-0 or -11/-0.

But this goes even further and just out right cripples the target with -13/-0! That excites my inner Timmy. Perhaps this won't see play outside of Limited and Casual, but still. It's blue pseudo-removal that makes a creature unable to attack quite well, and even works well with Beguiler of Wills... (see all)

Doesn't stop B.F.M. from killing you in one hit. 1/5

@Kryptnyt:
If I'm not mistaken, the deadliest catch would be Cthulhu. Now kids, don't go fishing near R'lyeh!

Is anyone else ***ed at majinara leaving his bs "commander reviews" on ever card from the set. And everything he says is "this card sucks"
About this card though, lol overkill. I know Wizards was going for a 13 theme in this block, but really? When exactly are you going to use this over, say, Claustrophobia?

Commander review: not good, because it's too narrow. When you add cards to your deck whichs job it is to deal with creatures, then you also want them to be able to deal with utility creatures. And that's not the case here.
1.5/5

A little surprised it wasn't a curse. Also a little disappointed that all the Curse cards were imaginatively (sarcasm) named 'Curse of the...'.

This could have the same name, the Curse subtype, and effect all creatures the cursed player controls for a little bit more mana. 3UU?

For the mana you use playing this card, you could have Unsummon'd it 3 times. This is a pretty weak "removal" card that will pretty much never be seen outside of Limited.

I rate this a one simply because it does work fairly well in limited (I had it cast against me). However, I can't really rate it much higher simply because I feel most cards ought to be designed for constructed.

Takes care of all those pesky Ludevic's Abominations running rampant in Standard.
