Wait, just hear me out. I didn't say it is a good card, in fact it is a horrible card as there is no support for it. There is no real strategy that this helps/hoses. But as an example of what rarity should mean, it is great. Rarity should NOT be synonymous with power (as many newer sets seem to be trying to disprove). Rarity should be about the uniqueness of the card and it's mechanics. This is pretty unique (even if it is outclassed by other 'yard-hate).

They could have tacked "Target creature gets -0/-X until end of turn, where X is the number of land cards removed this way" onto it. Would have made for interesting removal in land destruction decks as well...
As is, I want to order a foil one online. Because playing that will result in widespread hilarity.
