This also turns Spiteful Bully into a black Lightning Bolt every turn for Blue. Without fancy combos with narrow cards, this is basically an Air Elemental variant, with some added value against removal provided you kept Blue open.

It was a fine creature in its day, especially in a color that did not have many big versatile creatures without crazy drawbacks, and made for some really awful grinds for black and red opponents and their suites of targeted removal. Oddly enough, its ability is also a drawback: you need to have a creature to threaten in order for it to work. This makes it a generally worse ability than hexproof, as opponents rarely take the bait, and it is useless if this is the only creature in play.
