This guy needs to be retconned into something better. Like:

Gerrard, Captain of The Weatherlight {2}{W}{W}

Creature: Human Warrior

When Gerrard, Captain of The Weatherlight enters the battlefield, destroy target nonwhite creature.
Whenever Gerrard, Captain of The Weatherlight attacks, destroy target nonwhite creature.
When Gerrard, Captain of The Weatherlight dies, draw a card

I remember being incredibly excited after reading all of the books, to finally be able to round off my Weatherlight deck with Gerrard. He should have been the epic hero that he was throughout the series. Poor Gerrard, never got his day.
